My friend Josh, a brilliant independent playwright whom I've known since junior high, asked me to design a tattoo for him based on a picture of his mom from the 60's. I absolutely love the picture and had a great time adapting it into line art using Flash. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Here's my contribution to Tom Bayne's "Draw Captain Planet Day". I had meant to do a bonafide pen and paper piece, but dammit, digital is just so much easier and I'm lazy. I will be offering digital prints, with the proceeds going towards Gulf Coast cleanup efforts.

.....and unfortunately, the blog suffers because of this. Anyway, here's a little warm up piece I did for my friend Tom Bayne's Gulf Coast fundraiser, "Draw Captain Planet Day" on July 21, 2010. It's not Captain Planet, but as a kid I always thought Gaia deserved a little more attention.
